new year's eve revelation

Their stories are told to children from an early age. Everyone knows that there are four beings of legendary might in this world and this new year's I have had the revelation. I am the fifth one that prophecies have spoken of.

For years now I have noticed changes in me. My body has changed slowly and subtly to match the impressive physiques of the four great ones. My intellect and wit surpasses theirs by a long way. I am like them, of them but beyond them.

Even so it could notbe  known to me that I was to be the chosen one till the events of this new year's eve.

I was wearing a white shirt. There was a wall projector. I crossed the path of the projector and though this would be fatal to ordinary mortals I was unhurt. There was a tingling in the air.

The energies of the projector were condensed and focused on me yet I felt no pain. I looked down and saw the sign that the prophecies told for. And there on my abdomen was the rectangular TV screen with moving pictures.

The transformation was complete. Let it be announced to the four corners. My time has come. I am the fifth TELETUBBY.
