when i work late in the office and eat a massive quantity of candy and snacks, I take care to throw the wrappers in other people's waste baskets for aesthetic and noble reasons.

the bus

On the bus I squeezed past morning commuters to find a relatively spacious aisle standing spot. At the next stop, a midget lady got onto the bus and swatted away a handbag that was going to hit her face and came and stood next to me.

To say that bothered me was an understatement. I got the same sense of uneasiness when I am driving close behind a motorcycle. What I accidentally bump it and send it sprawling? I moved away as soon as I could, exactly as I would change lanes to prevent a bike form being in front of me.

goddam bikes and midgets. A nuisance to the noble commuter....
