one day, I suddenly found the word "ticker" to have strong associations with edibility.

It seemed like a tasty delicious word. I wanted to eat it.

If i could eat it, it would probably taste like popplers (from futurama http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Problem_with_Popplers)
